The photographs in this exhibition testify to the trauma and loss left in the wake of genocide, perpetuated in the search for the missing, the identification of remains, and the burial of Srebrenica's victims.
Tarik Samarah: 11/07/1995
In 2003, the photography of Tarik Samarah was donated to the Srebrenica Memorial Center by former US Ambassador to Austria, Swanee Hunt, as the first artistic exhibition to be displayed at the newly established museum. Following the renovation of the Memorial Room, these moving photographs are once again on display at the Memorial Center.
