Cooperation and partnerships
For the first time, the Srebrenica Memorial Center is organizing its Summer School titled "Genocide Studies" which will take place from July 5th to July 12th, 2024, in Potočari/Srebrenica.
We invite all students of social sciences, including history, law, political science, international relations, human rights, journalism, and other faculties/departments related to this topic to apply for participation. By participating in the Summer School, students will have the opportunity to engage in a completely new way in the study of the genocide in Srebrenica. They will explore significant historical sites, learn more about genocide, and understand the preservation of culture of remembrance at the Srebrenica Memorial Center. Lecturers will include experts in genocide studies from the Memorial Center and visiting professors.
Participation in the Summer School program is free of charge. The number of places is limited to a maximum of 25 participants. Working language of the school program is English.
